GRG-Sports is one of Ireland’s more unique sports teamwear suppliers to GAA clubs, soccer clubs, and all team-sports in Ireland. Established in 2018 by Mayo GAA players Tom Parsons, Shairoze Akram, and Cian Hanley (Former AFL Brisbane Lions).
With our collective experience on the field, we wanted to create sportswear that is edgy, different and bespoke. Collectively we feel we understand what every sports team needs to be in terms of quality, fit, and unique design.

GRG-Sports specialises in bespoke orders for clubs, teams and colleges. Each team can personalise their order with crest and colours. Meet The Team
Shairoze Akram
Shairoze was born in Pakistan, before moving to Ireland. Shairoze has a strong sports background lining out for his club, college and county at various age grades. Coming from experience Shairoze has an inside understanding of the needs and wants of teams and players when it comes to gear.

Shairoze's role within GRG is that of operations manager, He makes sure things run smoothly, keeping in touch with the suppliers daily, managing orders and looking after the financial side of GRG. Shairoze also oversees the designing process of team kits.
​
As Shairoze was born in Pakistan, communication with GRG's suppliers in Pakistan, as well as China, is much easier. He has visited suppliers and will continue to do so to ensure that all quality and sizing standards remain high, while also ensuring we are a fair trade company that does not condone child labour in any of the manufacturing.

Liaising with customers is another vital part of his role. He checks in with customers after their order has been completed to ensure they are fully satisfied with GRG products and services.
Cian Hanley
Cian comes from Ishlaun on the outskirts of Ballaghaderreen in the West of Ireland and comes from a strong sporting background. This includes representing Mayo GAA at U15, U16 and u18 levels. He also spent four years in Australia playing AFL with the Brisbane Lions.
Though his career seen him enjoy some great success along his sporting journey both in Ireland and Australia, Cian faced some challenging times through injury. Never giving up on his passion, Cian made his Senior Mayo Championship Debut in 2018 having returned to Ireland.

Since Cian has returned home he has joined forces with GRG and has helped to build the brand through manning the social media accounts and working as a Sales Executive. Cian also assists Shairoze in the operations and dealing with customers. With a fantastic ability to forge and build a relationship with clients, as well as his knowledge of all things sport, he is a key asset to the GRG team.
